Whether she’s in the back of an Uber, running errands, or in the middle of a hair appointment, Dr. April Lockley will answer the phone. As the medical director and volunteer provider with the Miscarriage and Abortion Hotline, she takes on answering patients’ pressing questions about miscarriages and abortions. Many of her patients are now reaching out with a growing fear of being arrested under abortion bans, she says in an interview with Huffington Post reporter Alanna Vagianos.
