Synopsis
When she was 25 and living in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley, Leslie Lozano decided she wanted an abortion. She was able to get the care she needed at an abortion clinic near her home. Texans in a similar situation have now lost access to the same support she had at the abortion clinic.
Leslie spoke with Abortion in America in Austin, Texas to bring greater attention and awareness to the experiences of people living in states with abortion bans.
