Florida’s six-week abortion ban took effect the week before Michelle, whose name has been changed to protect her confidentiality, learned she was pregnant.
Michelle knew that having an abortion was the right decision for her family. But because of her state’s abortion ban, she was forced to travel to Washington, DC to get the care she needed.
